The presented copy is a Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina certified by the factory « Ferrari Classiche ». All elements are strictly original. This particularly exceptional and desirable livery is characterized by a bodywork « Blue Scuro FER501 » and a saddlery « Rosso » weathered over the years.
At the time of certification, this chassis was investigated by the Ferrari Classiche division. Based on Ferrari’s historical archives, a recognized expert committee, such as COCER (Certification Committee) and chaired by Vice President Piero Ferrari, evaluated the technical characteristics of the car presented for certification. The technical examination of the Ferrari is the most important phase of the procedure: it reveals if the car is working perfectly and if the body, the engine, the gearbox, the transmission, the suspensions, the brakes, the wheels, the chassis and interiors are original, or if they meet at least the conditions of the original specifications. For each Ferrari built, detailed information about each component is recorded in the company’s archive. Moreover, all the assembly sheets are preserved as well as the original drawings since 1947.
As a reminder, only 712 Vetroresina specimens were produced between 1975 and the beginning of 1977. The 308 GTB polyester is the first vintage of this great series of berlinettes. She is the first two-seater Ferrari with a V8 engine. Few are the models that have survived.
This car is now in Italian registration. Straderial will take care of registration procedures to obtain a French registration card if the car is sold in the territory. In the case of export, the new owner will be in possession of all the necessary documents to allow the registration.
